A Bound Mind.

Sitting here thinking about what to write can sometimes be the very thing that can freeze your mind. Yet other times it's the very distinct opportunity to express what you feel deep inside your heart and soul. As long as you are writing something it will come out with a vengeance. I must be able to drive home two very important things to remember with that.

  • It's important to consider what you say will have a powerful affect on the other person.

  • Something that we hear ourselves say can either be fuel for the devil or honey for God.

  • I must be careful to really write something encouraging with enough warning as well.

Even on those days or weeks when it seems like you can't function...God is waiting.

On those days where you can't process what's going on, God is understanding.

On those days that you feel like all is lost....God is anchoring.

When you feel like your sin is too much....God is forgiving

If you ever feel like your faith is too little, that's what God will be using.

When you feel like giving up and your weak...God is strengthening.

When you are lost from the fold.....God is rescuing.

Well I know you are probably looking at that wondering what I mean by waiting, understanding, anchoring, forgiving and using as well as strengthening. Let's dig into the meat of this devotional post. A bound mind is a dark and lonely place right ? God is always waiting for you to cry out for His understanding so The Father can start anchoring your mind. He is always next to us forgiving you and I.. while at the same time using us and or our battles to be what really starts strengthening us.

I always feel refreshed when I give my mind and soul to Jesus Christ. The battle is the Lord's, fought and won hanging on the Cross. We don't have to feel like we have a bound mind. Our chains are set free if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Peace and difficulty go hand in hand sometimes but it's up to you to decide what you will focus on.

*Are you going to give up and stay lost or praise and pray through it?

*A Bound Mind Doesn't Have To Be A Permanent Place

Philippians 4:6-7. “Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
